பரிசுத்தமானதைக்குறித்துத் தான் செய்த தப்பிதத்தினால் உண்டான நஷ்டத்தைச் செலுத்தி, அதினோடு ஐந்தில் ஒரு பங்கை அதிகமாகக் கூட்டி, ஆசாரியனுக்குக் கொடுப்பானாக, குற்றநிவாரணபலியாகிய ஆட்டுக்கடாவினாலே அவனுக்காக ஆசாரியன் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்யக்கடவன், அப்பொழுது அது அவனுக்கு மன்னிக்கப்படும்.

And he shall make amends for the harm that he has done in the holy thing, and shall add the fifth part thereto, and give it unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering, and it shall be forgiven him.
