Nambiar Manorama and others Rajnikant is the village leader and is respected by people. On his advice people boycott elections and pool the money given by canditates to do basic amenities for them. Napoleon is his foe. The enmity grows as Rajni weds Meena whom his foe also wanted to marry. The villain plots with temple priest to mix poison in the holy water Meena drinks. As a result she becomes barren. But soon she becomes pregnant. Unravelling this mystery forms the rest of the story.
