Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah all songs have been composed by upcoming music director M.Ghibran of 'Vaagai Sooda Vaa' fame. The movie Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah stars Jai as Vijaya Raghavachari, shortly called as Ragava, a young MNC employee in his mid-twenties and Nazriya as Vishnupriya, also an MNC employee in her early-twenties. In Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah, Jai travels in a train to coimbatore under the fake identity of Abu Buckr as he didn't have a reserved ticket. He is accompanied by Pandiarajan who also travels in a fake identity of Kattapuli. He meets a young pretty woman Ayisha (Nazriya) in his opposite seat. Another co-passenger Sunil continously hits on Nazriya. He goes to the extent of taking of Nazriya when she's sleeping. Jai saves her from the scandal and gets Sunil arrested. Nazriya thanks him for helping her and they begin to bond over the rest of the journey. After returning to chennai, it is revealed that Nazriya was also travelling in a fake identity to cover for her friend Ayisha and is a homely iyengar girl Vishnypriya. Jai and Nazriya think their counterparts are muslims and they strike a friendship. But Nazriya feels guilty for leading on Jai and pushes him away from her life saying her father will never accept for a love marriage. Jai decides to learn about Islamic culture and traditions and meets Unani doctor Showkat Ali played by Jamal. He lives with his daughter Naseema (Heebah Patel), son Younus and nephew Ashraf Ali (Dinesh). Naseema falls for Jai's innocence and naivety, mistaking him to be Abu Buckr. On the day of Ramzan, both Jai and Nazriya realise they love each other. They confess to their family about their love who accept it and arrange for the marriage. Still thinking of each other as muslim, they reveal their original identities only to realise they were in love only with their muslim counterparts. They call off the wedding the night before. Jamal's family comes to know about his actual religiion and are upset on being cheated. In Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah climax, Jai is chased by Ashraf Ali (Dinesh) and his friends for leading on Naseema. Naseema clarifies that it was her fault and Jai was innocent. Nazriya sees all this and realises she still loves him and hugs him. Later they get married.
