Her desire is to marry Lord Muruga (played by T.R. Mahalingam) since her childhood days. One day when her parents discuss about marriage, she was taken to a farm house with her brother to spend some time and convince her for marriage. She meets a stranger (T.R. Mahalingam) in forest who had fallen in love with her trying to impress her in many ways. Valli (Rukmani) without knowing that it was Lord Muruga (TR Mahalingam) who is playing hide and seek in the appearance of stranger expresses her hatred. Finally how Muruga (T.R. Mahalingam) convinces her for marriage forms the rest of the story.
