இராத்திரிக்குத் தங்கியிரு, நாளைக்கு அவன் உன்னைச் சுதந்தரமுறையாய் விவாகம்பண்ணச் சம்மதித்தால் நல்லது, அவன் விவாகம்பண்ணட்டும், அவன் உன்னை விவாகம் பண்ண மனதில்லாதிருந்தானேயாகில், நான் உன்னைச் சுதந்தரமுறையாய் விவாகம்பண்ணுவேன் என்று கர்த்தருடைய ஜீவனைக்கொண்டு ஆணையிடுகிறேன், விடியற்காலமட்டும் படுத்துக் கொண்டிரு என்றான்.

Tarry this night, and it shall be in the morning, that if he will perform unto you the part of a kinsman, well; let him do the kinsman s part: but if he will not do the part of a kinsman to you, then will I do the part of a kinsman to you, as the LORD lives: lie down until the morning.
